Join us for our Sherman Park Neighborhood Walk
Common Ground will be holding two neighborhood walks in the Sherman Park area on the weekend of April 17 & 18. This effort will focus on talking to neighbors and assessing the quality of housing in the area. This will help us put a plan together to take to the banks and political leaders. We will begin at St. Joseph’s hospital, 5000 W. Chambers Street in Milwaukee (one block south of Burleigh between 52nd and 49th streets). We will meet in the Kleiger Auditorium both days.
Look for signage when you arrive at St. Joseph’s hospital.
The first walk will be Saturday morning, April 17. We will meet at 9 AM and finish by 11:30 AM.
The second walk will be Sunday afternoon, April 18. We will begin at 2 PM and will finish by 4 PM.
If you are interested in joining us, please meet us in Kleiger Auditorium at the designated start times either Saturday or Sunday.
Participate in a Foreclosure Tour
Common Ground will be taking people to see first-hand the devastation being caused by the foreclosure crisis.
